I use these magnets in pairs of reverse polarity for clutch mechanism on a thread feeding jig, they supply the tension to thread feed for a fishing rod winding jig, original design was with springs that were ok but not a consistent tension. Replacing the springs with the magnets the thread feed is much smoother and constant pressure, perfect solution for my jig.
