Each set of adhesive magnets includes 0pcs with the adhesive on the north pole, and 0pcs with adhesive on the south pole. This matched polarity design makes it easy to pair the magnets face-to-face for magnetic latches, closures, fasteners, cabinet doors, displays, fixtures, and other applications where two magnets need to attract each other.
Both north-pole and south-pole countersunk magnets will also attract to ferromagnetic materials such as steel, iron, and other magnetic metals, so they can be mounted to metal surfaces or used together as matching magnet pairs.

Adhesive Usage Instructions and Best Practices
3M VHB adhesive works best on smooth, clean, and non-porous surfaces such as metal, glass, plastics (like acrylic and polycarbonate), painted or powder-coated surfaces, and sealed wood. For optimal adhesion, surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned with isopropyl alcohol.
Due to the incredible strength of neodymium, we strongly recommend allowing 24 to 36 hours for the adhesive to cure.
However, for porous materials like raw wood, concrete, fabric, or unsealed surfaces, traditional glue or liquid adhesives provide a stronger bond, as VHB tape relies on full surface contact to achieve its high-strength hold.
