Rare Earth magnets are the best magnets available anywhere. They are always flawless extremely powerful and come in multiple shapes and sizes. They also have different force strengths available. I don't know of any place else that you can find a better magnet selection than this place.

Magnetic holder for embroidery scissors. I made them of polymer clay. Glued a magnet to the lip. Worked beautifully! Added a bit of detail and cured again at 270 degrees. The magnetism is virtually gone! The scissors can fall out.
