Strong Magnetic Hooks

Hooks with Powerful Neodymium Rare Earth Magnets

Magnetic hooks are used to hang objects from metal surfaces. They are typically made of a magnet encased in a housing and have a hook or loop on the end for attaching items. They can be used in a variety of settings, including offices, warehouses, and homes, to hang tools, wires, holiday and Christmas decorations, lights, and other objects. They are often used because they are easy to install and can hold a considerable amount of weight, depending on the size and strength of the magnet.

You can hang hammers, paint brushes, power cords, brooms, brackets, hats, coats, aprons, bags, and practically anything else you can think of. If you are in retail or manufacturing, hooks are also effective tools for managing and accessing your components, or for storing, displaying, and featuring your products – whether in a store, warehouse, or trade show booth.

Strong magnetic hooks also work great on boats and cruise ships. Use them to organize your cabin and keep items off the floor on your new voyage!

Choosing a Magnetic Hook

When it comes to shopping for the right hook magnet, there are several factors to consider to ensure it meets your specific needs.

First and foremost, it's crucial to consider the weight capacity you need and the intended application. Magnetic hooks come in a variety of sizes and strengths, allowing for versatile applications in both households and commercial settings.

For light-duty uses, such as hanging keys, pictures, or indoor tools like scissors and knives, our range of light weight magnetic hooks such as the 12lb or 25lb offer reliable solutions.

Larger sizes such as the 40lb hook are suitable for holding cleaning equipment like brooms and mops, as well as clothing on hangers. If you require something more robust, our heavy-duty magnetic hooks are ideal with up to 90lbs of pull force. They serve multiple purposes in consumer, commercial, industrial, and technical applications. Whether it's for hanging lights, wires, tools, banners, cables, signs, or any other items, these heavy-duty magnets have got you covered.

Vertical vs Horizontal Placement

An important consideration to make when determining how strong of a magnetic hook you need is the placement.

A magnet will hold its indicated pull force weight when positioned vertically, such as on the underside of a steel beam or table. Due to gravity and the possibility that the magnet will slide down the attachment surface, a magnet installed laterally or horizontally, such as on the side of a refrigerator or file cabinet, will only hold 30 percent or less of its listed pull force.
