I used multiple 3/8" x .2" round magnets to secure a sheet of light gauge steel against a product's framework made of HDPE plastic. Once inserted using a small press, the magnets stayed in place inside a 3/8" bore without adhesive. Perfect fit for my application. The small plastic disks between each magnet made them easier to separate during project assembly.
Fit perfect under model bases but adhesive not holding having to restick, may have to glue. Magnets very strong!
Just used these magnets to play around with building different things and they worked like a charm. They stick really well and don't come apart.

We use these in the shop for CNC Fixtures
I needed to use this for an air filter for my furnace. My furnace did not have a built in filter rack. So I put 4 of these magnets on each corner of the filter and placed it inside the furnace and it attached very nicely and strong to the cabinet where the return comes in. Just be careful to not drop these magnets on the floor I accidentally dropped one and it cracked into many pieces.
