Worked Perfectly

Used to seal loose oven doors.

Strong enough, epoxy is brittle

I bought a set of these to use on a standing shower door that wasn't sealing properly and creating a wet mess everytime it was used. One magnet on either side did the trick, but in the process I accidentally snapped two of them together. I should have been more careful, but the black epoxy is very brittle and/or has poor adhesion to the magnet surface. In addition to a small chunk of epoxy flaking off, there was also several small pint-sized defects. I felt the damage was excessive, using my observations on similar nickel-plated magnets as reference.

That said, they work great. Strong enough to hold with a 3/4" gap between them. Just exercise great caution if you decide to purchase them.
