Magnet Safety Warning

Please handle these rare earth 2 x 1/2 x 1/4 inch block magnets with caution. They are incredibly strong and powerful for their small size, and can pose a safety risk.

These grade N42 block magnets are difficult to separate by hand, and can snap back together with extreme speed and force. This may cause the magnets to break and send small fragments flying into the air, potentially causing injury.

With 27.6 lbs of pull force, these block magnets can also pinch your fingers if they snap back together. For your safety, keep these magnets far apart and at a safe distance of several feet or more once separated. Hand and eye protection is strongly recommended when handling these magnets.

Kicks K&J Magnetics' butt!

These magnets are tougher and half the price of K&J Magnetics' same model. We have bought K&J Magnetics magnets for years and then suddenly they started breaking in large groups and we asked them to make it right and they said it wasn't their magnets but our processes that were breaking them. Well, we have the same people making the same products with the same process using K&J Magnetics and they just started breaking in large numbers. We tested totalElement equivalents and they ROCK! We even put them through double-force stress tests and they didn't break. We made the switch to totalElement!
