Magnet Specifications
Sold in Matched Pairs
Each set of pot/mounting magnets includes 2pcs with the countersunk hole on the north pole, and 2pcs with the countersunk hole on the south pole. This allows you to pair them together to create magnetic latches, fasteners, and other closure mechanisms. Both the north and south poles will be attracted and attach to anything metal.
If you need the magnets in a different configuration, please contact us.
The Benefits of Pot Magnets
Pot magnets, also known as cup or mounting magnets, are standard neodymium magnets that are encased in a protective steel housing on the N or S side. Engineered to provide superior sturdiness and impact resistance, this steel housing or “pot” is also ferromagnetic, thereby incrementally increasing the pull force of the magnet itself.
So, in addition to being exceptionally tough and resilient, neodymium pot magnets also provide a stronger pull force than a regular magnet with an equal N-rating and size. This is because the metal housing focuses the magnetic field in one direction, increasing the magnet's holding power.
Pot magnets give you much greater durability and pull force than regular neodymium magnets, and as a result, you get more magnet for your money.

Magnet Safety Warning
Please use extreme caution when handling these 32 x 8 mm disc magnets. They are incredibly strong and powerful, and can pose a serious risk to your safety.
These large, grade N42 disc magnets are very difficult to separate and can snap back together with incredible speed and force. This may cause them to break and send small fragments flying into the air, potentially causing injury.
With 90 lbs of pull force, these disc magnets can also severely pinch your fingers if they snap back together. For your safety, keep these strong magnets far apart and at a safe distance of several feet or more once separated. Hand and eye protection is strongly recommended when handling these magnets.
