Are Your Magnets RoHS, REACH and Prop 65 Compliant?
Yes. Our neodymium (NdFeB) magnets comply with EU RoHS (Directive 2011/65/EU as amended by 2015/863), EU REACH (Regulation EC 1907/2006) and China RoHS. Because standard magnets are nickel plated, we also provide a California Proposition 65 notice. We can supply declarations for the items you buy on request.
What Each One Covers
EU RoHS
Limits 10 hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Our magnets contain each below the legal maximum. Read our RoHS statement.
EU REACH
Covers Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC), Annex XVII restrictions and Annex XIV authorizations. We can provide REACH declarations and SVHC status statements.
China RoHS
Restricts hazardous substances such as lead, mercury and cadmium in electronic products sold in China. We support labeling and disclosure requests with available documentation.
California Prop 65
A warning for nickel (metallic) in the plating. It doesn’t mean the product will cause harm. Read our Prop 65 notice.
