MagSafe Magnet Instructions

Our Neodymium MagSafe Magnetic Ring assemblies simplify integrating powerful magnets into your phone attachment products and devices.

These rings are designed for internal installation only, meaning that the magnets should not be exposed on the outside of your product or device.

In addition, they must be arranged so that the magnet side of the assembly faces towards the phone. The metal ring that holds the magnets together forms the backside of the assembly and should be oriented away from the phone. 

For optimal performance, place a thin protective layer—such as a sheet of ABS plastic—between the magnets and the phone, as illustrated below.

Additionally, ensure that the ring magnets do not come into direct contact with each other. Their powerful attraction can cause them to stick together irreversibly, potentially damaging the magnets if forced apart. To facilitate safe separation and storage, plastic spacers are included with your shipment.
